Aleksandar Sedlar Bogoev  belongs to the youngest generation of contemporary composers of classical music in Serbia. He graduated in 2006. at the Department of composition and orchestration on FMU (Academy of Music) in Belgrade in the class professor V. Trajkovic, as the best student of the generation. Currently, he is Phd student at the same department and works as an assistant. Aleksandar is also graduating Conducting in the same school, in the class of professor Bojan Sudjic.
The most important works are his violin concert Macbeth (dedicated to his mother, well-known English professor Ljiljana Bogoeva) and Elegy for Orchestra, which was performed by Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra in February of 2008.
Twelve years of his professional performance as a guitarist, mandolin player, bassist, drummer, key-borad player and vocalists is connected to works and live concerts of the biggest stars of serbian pop scene: Zdravko Colic, Zeljko Joksimovic, Sergej Cetkovic, Aleksandra, Kristina and Kornelije Kovac, Marija Serifovic, Ana Stanic, Aleksandra Radovic, Ognjana Radivojevica.
He performed on Eurovision 2007 for Bosnia and Herzegovina as back-vocalist.
He also performed on Jelena Tomasevic track Oro for Eurovision 2008 and performed live on stage representing Serbia (back-vocal, mandolin)
Aleksandar is the leader of the band IQ, which plans to soon record the first solo album.
